Old friends and current rivals Mike Healy and Pa Quirke faced off against each other with the best of nine games required for a victory. Mike Healy got the early lead with some strong initial plays. Pa countered with a strong comeback in the third but this was again returned by Mike in the fourth. A secondary tournament is also taking place for those relegated from the main card with both tournaments now running in tandem. Players from several local establishments are involved and the tournaments are fast becoming an exciting event for all.
